The Formosa Plastics Group (FPG) was founded in 1954 as a plastic processing company and has participated in the overall growth and prosperity of Taiwan’s economy over the past half-century. In 2004, in commemoration of the Group’s 50th anniversary, the Formosa Plastics Group Museum was established to document the growth and history of FPG, as well as to archive relevant artifacts that reveal the essence of FPG corporate culture.
The Formosa Plastics Group Museum not only wishes to share the Group’s years of history and the depth of Taiwan’s economic development, but also aspires to be an information center for the growth of a sustainable corporation and to pass on its corporate spirit.
The museum fully opened to the public in 2004 with six floors and a total area of over 8,000 square meters. We suggest that you begin your visit from the first floor and move upwards in a clockwise direction to learn more about this legendary corporation over the past half-century in Taiwan.
